Turn meeting notes into a decision-ready deck
Meeting notes record what was said; a useful recap deck explains what changed and what happens next. TweakSlides helps compress the source into a presentation while keeping the underlying text available for correction.
Paste the raw notes
Include decisions, metrics, owners, dates, disagreements, and unresolved questions.
Generate around outcomes
Ask for a short recap organized by decisions, evidence, risks, and next actions rather than chronology.
Verify and share
Correct names and numbers in Markdown, then export a PDF or share a read-only preview.
Decision: launch moved to Aug 12. Evidence: activation +18%. Risk: billing vendor late. Owners: Maya—mobile E2E; Dan—search replica. Open: approve $1.2k/month.
A compact recap with one outcome slide, one evidence slide, a risk/decision comparison, and an owner-based next-steps slide.
Do not turn every note into a slide
The agenda and speaking order are rarely the right presentation structure. A recap should foreground the decisions that were made, the evidence behind them, and the work that follows. Side conversations and repeated points belong in the source, not necessarily on screen.
A reliable recap shape
Start with the purpose and one-sentence outcome. Follow with key evidence, decisions, unresolved risks, and an owner-based action list. Use a timeline only when dates materially affect delivery.
- Outcome and context
- Metrics or evidence
- Decisions and trade-offs
- Owners, deadlines, and open questions
Keep the recap current
Because the deck source is text, the owner can update a date, status, or metric without reopening a design workflow. Agents can also propose a patch from the next meeting's notes while the prior version remains recoverable.
What it does not do yet
- TweakSlides does not identify speakers from audio or video.
- Names, dates, and decisions must be checked against the original notes.
- Sensitive meeting content should only be shared through an approved workflow.
Questions, answered plainly
Can I paste a transcript?
Yes, but concise notes usually produce a better first pass. For long transcripts, state the desired decisions and slide count explicitly.
Can I edit an owner's name or deadline later?
Yes. Update the slide source directly or request a focused edit without regenerating the full deck.
Can I share the recap without exposing the source?
You can export PDF or standalone HTML, or use a read-only preview link.
